Band Battle is a community voting tournament. Bands are drawn into a bracket, and every matchup is decided by the people who turn up and vote.

Each round runs for a set number of days. While it is open you can vote in every matchup and watch the percentages move in real time. When the clock runs out the round closes on its own, the winners move on, and the next round opens automatically.

That carries on until two bands are left, and then one. The champion is whoever the crowd sends through — nobody else decides it.
